Don’t miss the Ebru (Papermarbling) Art, great experience of feeling the beauty of drawing florals on the water.

This 1.5 hours workshop begins with fundamental information on Traditional Turkish Ebru Art, including materials and techniques. You will start by experiencing how to sprinkle the paint for the background on the solution and then drop the paint using biz (needle). After that, you will learn how to shape the drops into Hatip Ebru (various floral patterns), Carnation Flower, and Tulip Flower.

During the papermarbling workshop, you will complete at least 3 artworks. You may decorate your place or give them to your loved ones as presents!

To ensure that each participant has the opportunity to get the most out of the workshop, the number of participants is limited to 5. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

She is a picture book writer, translator, who believes it’s never too late to reclaim the magic of childhood. A graduate of Bilkent University and the University of Leicester, she weaves words—and images—across English, French, and Turkish. She explores storytelling through media collage, and she brings stories to life visually, blending text and texture into playful layers. When not chasing stories or sipping milky coffee, she’s exploring new corners of the world. Gamze collects picture books like souvenirs—each one a passport to wonder.

You’re invited to a unique artistic experience using pages from old books, yellowed letters, retro magazines, timeworn paper fragments and marble art papers.

In this media-collage workshop, we won’t just cut and paste — we’ll rebuild memory, emotion, and story layer by layer. Every torn edge and faded color will carry meaning. Our goal isn’t perfection, but authenticity, expression, and connection.
