Autumn in Spectacular Tezhib Art

This artwork of Autumn, created using the traditional and classic illumination method, showcases a delicate application of Islamic geometric patterns at its center. The artist employed techniques such as shikaf, halkar, gold dilution, and color hatching to enhance the piece. By carefully selecting and blending colors, the artist successfully evokes the feeling of autumn. Additionally, the artist hand-colored the paper, adding a unique and personal touch to this exquisite creation.

This artwork was awarded first place at the İstanbul Yeditepe Bienali / Suleymaniye Exhibition in 2018.
